My name is Michele Rankin and my husband is Tom Rankin. As a traveler, you can spend anywhere between 6-15% on booking fees using the most popular third-party booking sites. Just think what you can do with that saved money! The recent commercialization of the vacation rental industry is financially squeezing owners and travelers with unnecessary restrictions and increased service charges. More importantly, they are also attempting to separate owner and traveler contact to protect their corporate interests! All of this reduces traveler satisfaction. As of 2017, the main three big-box listing sites have all migrated to a similar business model leaving vacation rental owners and travelers with few options.
We want to make the experience better for both the traveler and homeowner. There are other benefits to booking your vacation directly with the homeowner then just saving on booking fees. You have direct communication with the homeowner at all times. Who better knows what the area has to offer than the homeowner? We would be happy to provide you inside local tips of where to eat, local activities, local attractions, etc… We also are very proud of the quality and care we take to make sure our rentals are clean and comfortable for your stay. We listen to your reviews and recommendations’ constantly incorporating them to make future stays even more enjoyable.
Currently we have two properties for rent. A lovely three bedroom home with two baths and a large heated pool in Sunny Cape Coral, Florida. We also have a cozy cottage with three bedrooms, one bath located right on Lake Chautauqua, New York.
